Hello! My name is Becky Kubecka. This will be my 9^th year teaching 1^st grade, and my 16^th year overall. I previously taught Kindergarten for 5 years and Pre-K for two years. I attended SUNY Cortland for both my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education & Early Secondary Social Studies, and my master’s degree in Literacy Education. I live in Mohawk with my husband, two sons, and our dog, Zoey. I absolutely love teaching first grade because I get to see my students not only acquire new skills and have fun doing so, but I love seeing their confidence and independence grow too!
