Regional Rural Issues Forum (RSA)
The Rural Schools Association of New York State (RSA) is organizing a Regional Rural Issues Forum to address the challenges faced by rural schools and communities. The forum, featuring David Little, the Executive Director of RSA, aims to gather feedback from participants regarding the obstacles and issues encountered in rural settings. The event will begin with a briefing on the current state of rural schools and communities, followed by an opportunity for attendees to share their concerns and ideas. The input gathered from this public forum will be reviewed by a task force of experts and incorporated into a policy brief/advocacy platform to be presented to national and state leaders. This forum offers an opportunity to contribute to the future well-being of rural communities and their children, making it worth investing 90 minutes of one's time.
