Why Learn Science

This is the question at which all science is aimed. If you have ever stopped and asked the simple question of why, then you have shared a moment that each and every great mind has shared throughout history.

The purpose of science is to seek an answer to this most basic of questions. Aside from introducing students to the fundamentals of the various scientific disciplines, the science department is committed to instilling a lifelong appreciation for the world in which they live, and a curiosity to continue to explore it.
