Welcome to the security home tab. 
 We are excited about this new tab and what we will be able to offer and provide to our students, parents, community, and staff. In this tab you will find the District Safety Plan. I ask that you review it and provide any comments that you may have. Until we can put all of the content in place please email Brian Coleman, Director of Pupil Personnel and School Safety, with any comments about the District Safety Plan. Know that each building has their own Building Safety Plan that is specific and totally confidential so information from those plans cannot be shared.

The District has a Safety Committee that meets each quarter, or more often if needed, to discuss issues and develop plans to ensure the safety of all in our schools.  On this committee are the Police Chief, Fire Chief, Superintendent, Board Members, Administrators, Buildings and Grounds, Finance, a teacher representative, a parent organization representative, two Herkimer BOCES Safety Office representatives, and Director of Safety for the District. Our next scheduled meeting will be March 11, 2020. Contact Mr. Coleman at the email listed above if you have concerns that you would like the committee to discuss.

The District Safety Plan has changed with the addition of the School Resource Officer data. There will be a public hearing to discuss the new plan January 29th at 5:00 p.m. in the Benton Hall Auditorium. If you have any comments please respond to the email listed above.
