Please join us for The Rural Schools Issues Forum sponsored by Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES and the Rural Schools Association on November 12, 2025. 

The event will open with a briefing on the current state of rural education, followed by an opportunity for attendees to share their perspective on the local and regional challenges impacting rural schools and the communities that support them. Additional topics of discussion will include: Addressing Critical Workforce Shortages; the Zero-Emission School Bus Mandate; Educational Equity and Smart Infrastructure Investment; Supporting a Dedicated NYS Funding Stream for School Safety; Foundation Aid Proposals, Grid Capacity, etc.
